See how malicious storage.googleapis.com is
Victim: I had porn tabs on my computer, watching and listening to music from Youtube, I went to get my food, came back and there was a dialogue box with a beeping sound that said a porn site I visited infected my computer and my personal information and files were vulnerable. I've received scams like this before (like a lot of us have), but this one actually offered up a Microsoft phone number to call: 1-866-352-8353. Is this legit or a scam?
The site actually had a url: https://storage.googleapis.com/geoedgescanforsystemsafteyandsystem123/win/error-windows-porn-virus-defender.html
Mind you, storage.googleapis.com is merely a fake tech scam. Please do ignore what it says or do not try to call the given phone number;otherwise, further damages will be made. If you experience the same issue, this article is where you can find a solution.
