Description of SafetySearch
SafetySearch is classified as a browseradd-on which claims to help you block inappropriate or explicit images from
your web search results. However, it is not as helpful as it advertises. In
fact it is a pesky browser add-on that comes into your computer without your
knowledge and consent by the means of being bundled with free downloads,
visiting suspicious websites, clicking malicious ads and links.
While being infected by this browser
add-on, it is capable to make its installation in almost all kinds of your
browsers including Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. You
will find that your browser settings have been modified as well as your browser
default home page and search engine. As a result, it can easily track your
browsing history and record them. Meanwhile, it will generate and display
millions of advertisements according to your online searches. The ads vary from
fake update messages, recommended programs, great deals, coupons, discounts and
sales promotions. Those pop-up ads are not safe and most of them contain some
dangerous and aggressive infections like malware, ransomware, spyware, adware,
Trojan horse, worms and browser hijacker. Any clicking is activating and
downloading more viruses to your computer so that your computer will be in a
worse condition. Gradually, your computer will result in poor performance such
as slow operating speed, taking a long time to turn on or shut down, and easily
get frozen up while loading web pages and opening programs.
In short, this SafetySearch is a harmful
browser add-on that can badly damage your computer. You should delete SafetySearch
browser add-on as soon as possible before it causes more troubles.
